Zahid, a native of India and self-described “disruptor” of industry is an entrepreneur par excellence. Over the past years, Zahid has evolved from a studious teen, who passed high school from Jamshedpur, graduated from Aligarh Muslim University and later on he completed his MBA from Sikkim Manipal University. He came to the Middle East to use his expertise as a chief programmer in Saudi Electricity Company in 2001. Zahid believes that Behind every prosperous entrepreneur is a scrambled record: a lifetime of mounting successes and dreadful failures and the ever-present motivation to keep pushing boundaries. His inner urge pulled him towards business and he started his business career with just one hundred Saudi riyal. He then tendered small contracts from the government and pushed into the business with force, wit, and sheer determination. He has proudly engaged a man power of over 4000 and expects this to increase manifold, a small estimation of which is around 17000 by the end of 2020. His entrepreneurship extends in different realms—facility management, hospitality services, general trading, energy, mining, education, transportation, construction and real estate, jewelry and many other fields. He has been successfully managing hotels with over 20,000 rooms combined. His formidable presence can be felt in the entire Middle East ranging from Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman Qatar and UAE. His company is among the top four ISO certified facility management company of KSA with multi million dollar turnover. The company envisages to double its turnover by 2020. His business acumen shall soon be witnessed in the food and beverage industry where he expects to give still competition to existing food chain investors soon. He has already started to set his foot in the Indian hospitality industry as well.
